Monday blue once more, it’s the time for me to switch my weekends mood to study mode. Well, I have been sticking around with my hubby for the past 3 days continuously. Guess that I have plenty of practices and hopefully I could improve steadily every time.

After Ekka that day which was Sat, I woke up at 7a.m because my friends were going to have baptism as a Christian. So, I attended the event to give some supports to them.

Later that day, I went to TzuChi meeting place to attend another event as a photographer. It was a fundraising event and having some prayers for Typhoon disaster victims in Taiwan. Hopefully everything would back to normal soon. I would pray for you everyday.

Straight after the event, I rushed to QUT Kelvin Grove campus to attend "Kekasih Semalam” Theatre a.k.a Merdeka celebration. When I was looking at the slides about the culture, food, places, people and buildings of M’sia, I missed home and hopefully I would be at my own country at that moment.

I miss yumcha sessions with my family and friends…

I miss M’sia jungles and nature…

I miss speaking in rojak languages….

I miss teasing and hanging out with my buddies…

I miss everything and you…

IMG_1131 Friends n me

Early morning on this good Sunday, I went to nursing home as a photographer as well. I was no longer feeling scared or weird about them. Looking at their happy faces especially zooming in by using my lens could really made me feel happy. Their expressions were so different when we were singing and dancing together. I felt touched whenever people were caring and bringing joy to others.

After that, it was the time for us to do some recycling job. We have to classify each disposable item into recyclable or non-recyclable categories.

The shadow was killing me as I couldn’t adjust my camera setting to accommodate with the situation. Frank senior used 2 flashes when taking the group picture and the result was awesomely nice and clear.

Monday blue-ing. Jia you

先做好自己

One day after I came back from my trip, I attended a 3 days 2 nights Tzu Ching camp after persuading by Patrick 学长 (senior). He is a very kind friend to be and humorous too ^^

Before joining this camp, I have went for their activities a few times such as hands on recycling and visiting nursing homes. Well, I still remember there was once I visited old folks home in Msia was just taking photograph of Taylorians taking care and painting the bed frames for them.  Hence, this might be the first time I actually visiting them in Oz in a different way.

My first experience was kinda scary because I saw a few grandpa or grandma without proper body parts or full of tubes around them. However, my perception changed when we were having fun singing and cheering them up. I felt really happy to be with them especially looking at their fade smile signifying loneliness no more. What they really want is to have somebody to care for them. Whenever I asked about how old are they, how many children they have, they tend to forget. This made me think that there might have some bitterness stories to be left untold.

I definitely will try my best to attend every visit of nursing home on every month. What I have learnt so far is sustainability is crucial. You can’t just help once and go. Trust and good relationships could not build up strongly with just a hi and bye, isn’t it?

Back to the camp. Throughout these mere few days, seriously I have learnt a lot of stuffs that I always trying to hide, avoid, am not aware or forget. When I first stepped into the registration counter, friendly smiles and welcomes filled the air which made me warmer and felt loved.

At that time, I have not enough of money to buy another dark blue jacket to warm myself. During the first activity, Alice 学姐quickly took out her sweater she wore and gave it to me. Besides, Debbie 学姐also handed me her scarf. I was so touched and felt really warm that people did actually care for me T_T

Debbie 学姐

The first night lesson was about love of our parents. I was too touched and almost everyone cried softly. Daddy & Mummy, love you always. Thanks for bringing me into this fantastic world.

Patrick 学长 always likes to act a different role of character to bring humor for the old folks.

A few of my friends and I went to a senior's house to take bath. I was really amazed that her house was so hugh and awesome. My heart kept yelling "wah wah wah wah" like a kampung girl who have never seen such a big house before.

DSC01177

The cute dog liked to lick people's legs and play with ppl. It was so adorable. At first I felt kinda ticklish but after that I love to play with it ^^ Suddenly, hoping I have a cute dog in my house =.=

Everyone got a chance to talk out their feelings about each days' activities.

Seniors were helping to tying their hair.

DSC01205Every time when we were going to have lunch and dinner, we would queue up at one side and walk slowly, uniformly with the music and hands close up as well.   I love that kind of feelings very much. It made me thought of togetherness.

The meals for 3 days were awesome and delicious. I can't believe vegetarian steamboat and popia can be that nice. Superb ^^

XXXXXX

My hair always looked messy because I went for a white mice hair cut during my trip before the camp. My hair was being layered and hence it was kinda difficult to tie my hair neatly. Part of the short hair would folk out easily =.=

IMG_1218

Most of the participants and committees were from Taiwan. If not mistaken, there were only 5 Malaysians. Anyhow, everyone of us get along easily =)

I am not really good at expressing myself through words. So, if there are too many pics which made you feel confused, do forgive me. And ya, dunno why my Chinese speaking was really poor when I wanted to communicate with everyone. Sometimes I just couldn’t find the right verb or noun to express myself. Aww… PHAILED lar.

From this camp, I have made one decision. That is to be vegetarian for a few specific days in each week. I hate people who do not fulfill their promise. I hope I myself can do it. 讲到就要做到。Support me k? If I phailed, I am gonna punish myself.

Please use green bag instead of plastic bag when you are shopping.

Recycling. Apply 3R in your daily life. Don’t just talk, do it!

做好自己才去影响他人。

时时好心,就是时时好日。

Peaceful soul

Well, I always wanted to go to any temple here to make prayer as prayer can make myself feel better as what a believer think so. At first I planned to go to a temple located at China town but couldn’t really find the way to go there. Hence, I google lor. I typed “Brisbane Chinese Temple” but the result did not show any temple located at Valley. However, I spotted a more beautiful temple which was located far-fetched from the city. Hence, if you know me well, I would just risk myself and say “JOM” although I have not heard of the place before nor knowing how to go there. My concept is just find out what you don’t know but not just mere depending on things that you are familiar, right? No?

Internet now so damn canggihkan? Sekelip mata I already have a rough idea on how to go to the place. We have to interchange buses for twice in order to reach there. After interchanging the bus, we went through a winding and narrow road which instantly reminded me the day I solo backpacking at Sabah where most of the road was so damn cacat and ulu. Kinda scary wei if I were alone.

After stopping at a bus stop, I quickly asked the bus driver whether that was XXX Bus Stop or not. He hesitated for awhile and nodded his head. Ok lor, then Jia Min and I descended from there. After looking left and right, we realized that the driver has cheated us. Anyhow, I did not blame him because I felt that I more noob. Why didn’t I straight away asked him where was the XXX temple? wtf.

Oh, I felt really grateful to meet with an old lady who was really kind. She asked us to follow her to a Chinese restaurant and asked around. She even helped us to ask whether the owner of the restaurant could give both of us a lift or not. Omg, she was so kind. Too bad I was so blur at that time and couldn’t really thank her and take photo with her T_T If next time I stopped by at the restaurant, I hope to bump into her *crossed fingers*

IMG_0123

The owners of the Chinese Restaurant. Me shy shy to take pic with them >.<

IMG_0125

We were in the kind hearted owner’s car who was willing to fetch us straight to the temple.

Actually, we have stopped at the wrong bus stop. It should be further up before we descended. If we boarded the bus, we have to walk 600m to reach the temple but since we had ppl fetching us, of course straight away stopping at the temple lar. wohoo.

IMG_1669

We were greeted with lots of Buddha statues once we reached the entrance of the temple. The location of the temple was really quite ulu where we could see lots of beautiful tropical and lush, greenery trees and forest.

IMG_1629 IMG_0130 Once I stepped into the prayer room, I felt so peaceful and at home. I couldn’t believe myself either. Besides, when I was praying and kneeling in front of the Buddha statues, suddenly I become so emotional. My tears just kept flowing out. Paiseh. I have no idea why I was so emotional suddenly. My heart was fragile all in a sudden =.='

IMG_1550

IMG_1551After praying and looking around, we went to the another pagoda just beside of the main building. It reminded me the pagoda in Genting Highland ^^

IMG_1574

We prayed once more and have a small chat with the Fa Shi. They need people to help out during Buddha Birth Day Festival and hence we gave her our contact number. I am willing to on call anytime without really care when is my due date of my assignment or exam. Yea, that’s PehHwa.

I still remember that I even accepted the offer to perform with all the professional ppl whereby I was the only noob player which happened one week before my SAM exam. lolz.

IMG_0151 My expression damn PHAIL lar =.=

IMG_1647

Just don’t know why people always enjoying taking nice pictures, but I enjoying taking SHITS ^^ *lovin it*

IMG_0155 Last but not least, a big thanks to Jia Min who is willing to go to this temple with me. Seriously, when I have decided to go to this temple instead of the other one. I did not tell her where were we up to. I just told her to follow me and she would know later. Perhaps I might sell her to someone to become a guinea pig. I jokingly told her lar. Anyhow, everything is about trust. In the end, she still in one piece lar. haha. lolz. swt =.=

IMG_1673

She bought herself a patung which I like it alot. Cutekan?

IMG_1664

Oh no, it was a dead end. Well, at first I thought of hitch hike ppl’s car to the nearest bus stop. However, we choose to walk along the street to enjoy the view ^^

IMG_1704Guess what. As we walked along the road, we had discovered a beautiful lake. It was somehow like paya bakau but it was not swampy at all. So apa tu, saya tak tau lar. Water bakau?

IMG_1690

IMG_1678

IMG_1701

IMG_1702In the end, we reached at the bus stop and managed to catch the bus which came infrequently.

IMG_0159 Once I reached home, I quickly bath and went to my friend’s house to have dinner. Thanks for the delicious dinner ^^

Not long ago, I rushed to Uni to attend my Choir practice. That time it was already 7p.m, I kept on running and running. Once I reached the venue, I felt like vomiting as I was not feeling really well. Today my breakfast = lunch = dinner =.= Sornee.

Whenever I sing, I would feel very relaxing. However, sometimes I am quite tensed over the fast rhythm whereby I have to see carefully what’s the next Latin words that have to sing out. lolz.

Anyhow, I know I can do it. Yea, my first performance would be on 24th of April at 12a.m as ANZAC Day is on 25th. lolz. I am looking forward for my 2nd performance with fellow orchestra members . Oh no, it is my first time of having this kind of grand performance, very excited now ><

Sorry for the long long long post. Once I am too free or my mind is too active, this would be the result of it. lolz. Ok lar, damn late now. cioz.
