Fishing

Dear readers, here I am back once again. Nooo, I have been blogging on and off, I think it has become my habit. Not really into blogging but I do blog when I feel to.

Went to fishing for the first time few days ago. My friend bought the coupon from a voucher website and hence, the total cost for the trip was so reasonable.

After 2 hours of car ride, we arrived the fishing spot. At first, I have no idea how to use the fishing rod. After getting short tutorial from my friend, I started to get a hang of it and yeaaa, kinda happy when I managed to throw the fishing line far enough from where I stood. Besides, the weather was freaking hot, luckily and brought my cardigan and wore on it under the blazing sun waiting restlessly for the fish to bite the bait. IMG_1956

There is a policy in fishing at the place which is everyone must release the fish once they caught any of the fishes. The guys who stood beside us caught them endless time because they were using small fish as a bait, hence, we saw literally the whole process of from fishing, catching the fish until taking picture with the fish and releasing them.

Trying to act pro which has failed miserably.

Somehow, the fishes were smart enough not to eat our baits which have hook on it. But they did eat the baits that were just randomly threw into the pond. How smart they were.

After reaching home, we just had little time to shower and be prepared before heading to a friend’s house for a party.

Their house was freaking big and cozy. I hope my parents are that rich too. LOL. The DJ game was so cool too but didn’t get a chance to play Sad smile after that, they had a short karaoke session before everyone started to dozing off due to exhaustion.

awesome SkyDiving

Aloha, holiday is approaching. Here I am again to share something new. FYI, I was suppose to do skydiving with a group of friends in Cairns. However, due to the windy & unpredictable weather, it has to cancel and thus we decided to do it in Brisbane itself since it’s a no refund policy. Wondering how the tourists would react if they have to bid farewell to the money they have paid for.

After arranging with the related agent the date to “jump”, here we were at Sutton’s beach, Brisbane ready for the cool adventure. Since we were allocated to the later shift, we went for a walk around the place. Instantly, I fell in love with this tranquil and peaceful atmosphere. IMG_7656

Friends and me who were going to “jump airplane”

When we were doing administration stuffs in the office, the receptionists kept persuading us to change our jump height from 9000ft to higher. Of course this comes with cost. If it’s 14000ft (highest point), we need to pay extra approx $80 but the free fall moment will be longer. At that moment, I intended to do higher since it might be my first and last time doing this (not die okay). However, decided not to in the end because wanted to jump together with my friends Smile

Peh: was it safe? Am I going to die? bla bla bla.

While we were on the way to the airport, I decided to take off my coat because I like Raleigh shirt Open-mouthed smile Every time when I wanted to do some adventurous stunts, I prefer wearing it. But my only concern was it was winter at that time and my shirt was berlubang2 that kind of material, I scared of the coldness or should I say the freezing moment. With short pants some more!

Gary was his name. I think he was head or something. Hence, we needed to wait till everyone has sat in the plane before we stepped in. Ended up sitting beside the window which has given me a big chill + excitement. Anyhow, the view seen from the airplane down to the earth was freaking beautiful.

SEQ0006

Once we reached at 14000ft which I have no clue at all, Gary opened the door and instantly I was pushed by him to jump without any signal. Here was my cacat terrified expression.

SEQ0010

Ignore the “uglam” look. At the very first moment, I screamed my lung out because the feeling was too awesome to be terrified especially the free falling feeling. It was scarier than riding a superman roller coaster, no kidding!

My hair couldn’t stop harassing Gary’s face Smile with tongue out

Gary pointing his camera towards me, so I have to keep posing. If not the pictures taken were not cool. LOL

See Gary’s face. The impact of the wind was so strong!

One word to say, BAGUS!

The feeling of jumping from 14000ft to 0ft was friggin-awesome though my heart was nearly came out in an exaggerate way.

If you haven’t tried skydiving, give it a go unless you are pregnant or having heart problem. You must be wondering why I wrote 14000ft instead of 9000ft afterwards. Well, we got BONUS. We paid 9000ft fees but jumped at the highest point to match the consistency of other jumpers as well. tak kan the pilot stop at 9000ft for us then proceed to 14000ft for others. If so, gonna waste petrol and time!  I felt good too as I nearly wanna pay the extras for jumping 14000ft. LOL

We got a cert and $10 voucher for lunch before heading to Brisbane city. It’s a worthwhile deal as transportation and food were provided and we paid less than $200 for the jump whereby normally it would cost us approx $350++ for 14000ft.

Vegetarian burger. I paid $5 after discount. damn cheap kan!

Sutton’s Beach. Even though if you are not doing any adventurous stunts, this is a nice place to visit.

I have a small wish. wanna jump in NZ & Africa one day. ps: I mean dreaming atm!

till here. have a nice weekends Smile

Rock Climbing

Hello all, a proper greeting to everyone : )

Rock climbing is a fun outdoor activity. It could do it indoor, however, it would be more fun if you could climb on natural rocks instead of man-made wall, isn’t it?

I have bought a deal at a cheaper price, hence, taking this golden opportunity to expose myself with some heavy exercises which was Rock Climbing at Kangaroo Point, Brisbane.

IMG_4989

We were jaw-dropping once we reached there. It looked tough from appearance which made everyone of us afraid instantly.

IMG_5003

IMG_5010

Those 3 ropes were the rocks wall that we were going to climb

IMG_5006

Before climbing, we need to wear helmet and the “safety belt” for safety purpose

IMG_5012

Everyone must be thinking “we can do it” & posed YEAH!

IMG_5021

IMG_5034

IMG_5043

It looked hard to climb, but with some patience, one could easily get to the top of the rocks. It was hell fun whenever you touched the top because it signified victory!

My friend gave up more than halfway because of the big rocks which blocked the way. Hence, she decided to come down. We didn’t really know how it works when coming down, so the posture looked somehow weird when we were hanging halfway there

alright, nerdy silly look. *_* that’s me!

I managed to climb up three times by using 3 different ropes. Felt satisfied & happy though the process was kinda tough. It required mental power as well. If you say you don’t feel like proceeding, then you would give up. I kept telling myself to go on until to the top no matter how (stubborn me), but well, hard work paid off. The feeling was great and definitely would like to do more challenging rock climbing in the future. (hang in there! never give up easily on your dreams)

264823_10150234335962081_651312080_7166493_6579320_n

Last but not least, before we climbed, we actually camwhored by using self-timer camera in front of a memorial park. It was fun with great companion and rough sport. Yes, it was rough because I got quite a few scratches on my arms and legs. Till now, the scars were there T________T (who was the culprit who wore short pants and short sleeve, ME Smile with tongue out)

Alright, till here.

If you are interested to go on rock climbing, GO AHEAD. Though the process of climbing might be energy and time consuming, everything would become worthwhile if you give it a go. No pain no gain!

Bye! Love
