A Musical Adaption

Feel like writing something even though there are tons of things to share. yet I would just want to write something simple this time. yea, it’s my 700 post. Have been operating this blog post for quite awhile and never really let it to sleep not even more than 2 months I think. It would revive when it is about to die. Posting up pictures definitely delight me myself and my readers too, don’t you think? Other than that, writing not really could express myself but indirectly helping me to distress from the heavy workload. nafas nafas! have a break, have a kit kat. I don’t really have serious thoughts. Right at the moment, I hope next Saturday would arrive earlier so that all my study moment or “butt-sticking-to-the-chair-like-forever moment” would be gone by blinking my eyes within a second.

I’m gonna perform on stage after practicing for months. Come and watch if you are interested. All the proceeds would be gone for the charity. We wouldn’t receive any penny. But our sweats and sincerity are there in our hearts and mind. Presenting you the awesome yet inspiring, yet meaningful sign language musical performance. see u there loh!

Melancholic

Feeling a lil tense right now. Was trying to sleep after the hectic week has come to an end but to no avail. Having too much of thoughts at once. First of all, losing confidence is a disaster for me. I can’t speak well, express well, do well either. It has become a major stopping for me to proceed my tasks. Confidence, c’mon, I need to rebuild you and be strong again!

Secondly, after helping out for the “aisha” today. My mind can’t stop flashing the moment of sadness that I might can’t feel for real by the flooded victims. I was in charged in socializing with the families in 2 tables. In my group, here come a big family of 6 with 4 small kids. They were sooooo sweet especially Randa who was just 2 years old just couldn’t stop smiling to me whenever I looked at her. I was deeply touched with how this family moving on since the disaster. They couldn’t go back to their home anymore as the house is sinking due to the soft wash-away soil during the flood. Other than that, they have to squeeze themselves living in someone’s house. After all, it was not convenient for them to stay at people house for a long time. Besides, the lovely mum was sick and was in waiting list for a surgery. One of their children was diagnosed with a kind of brain sickness. It made the children hyper always and couldn’t sit still. I could still recall the unique smell they have.

The more we talked about their condition, the parents were started to weep. I was dumbfounded. I was touched. I was helpless. The only thing I could do was to still calm. I missed the moment when the lil girl hugged me all in a sudden. She was tiny and shy. Her cute lil smile brighten my day. I miss her : (

There was another old couple kept thanking us profusely as they were touched by our kind hearts. While he was talking with me, I could sense that he was in melancholic. Instantly, his eyes have gone wet. I pat his shoulder, and smile, telling him everything would be fine in the end. Have faith even though the process of recovering might be slow.

I don’t know what else to say. Disasters could happen everywhere even though in a wealthy country. People could go from rich to poverty. It’s unpredictable. Yet, we still can save money bits by bits everyday. By accumulating it, who knows it might come to handy in the future.

Feelin refresh now. Hopefully I could meet them again during the performance day. signingoff~

Being a Vegan is never a bad thing

Easter break is almost come to the end. Yet, never has sufficient time to rest well. Although has been enjoying my vacation at somewhere else for the past 5 days, it’s time to do some charity works. Kinda satisfied and happy though, because alas I was surrounded by the beauty of nature once again. Will elaborate more next time. Yeahh! Gonna visit nursing homes & volunteering at Buddha festival during this weekends.

Last Sunday, TzuChi Brisbane organized a 1 day camp for the kids. It was always my favorite task to be a photographer especially it involved CHILDREN. I enjoyed looking through the camera viewer to see the kids’ expressions and the interaction scenes between the kids and their parents. Somehow, it made me smile though I was kinda tired on that day.

Last but not least, why not try to eat less meat and eat more vegetable for the sake of your health and future? Never try never know! I have been a vegan for more than 4 months and I enjoy being a vegan despite receiving some public critics whenever I say I am a vegan. It doesn’t make me give up on what I believe, in contrary, it motivates me to share the benefits of being a vegan to friends and family. Sharing is caring, never keep good stuffs on your own. Do share the happiness around you Open-mouthed smile

Update more next time. till here. have a great weekends!

Meaningful Christmas

Hellloo everyone, thanks for your concern. I will reply your lovely comments one by one after my busy week has ended. So far, I am fine, fever has gone but I have the feeling of losing my voice soon.

Also, I never expect that I would visit Hualien TzuChi Hospital once I reached there. However, I was really touched when some of the TzuChi friends including people that I rarely know asked about my condition. Tq :)

I had an enjoyable moment working with a group of cheerful TzuChi friends although yesterday I almost wanna breakdown because of the error I have made for the video. It was really tedious and time consuming. However, the laughter of everyone has made my day :)

Besides, I am happy that I could attend most of the interesting lessons this year as I was fishing last year and was quite regretted to miss them out.

We were facing the comp almost the whole day ><

Oh and yea, I am happy to meet quite a lot of new and old friends from Oz, Msia, US, etc. Felt so cozy and somehow I would smile unintentionally :D

Alright, back to video editing ^^

地球樂活日 Save the Earth

Gosh, everyday is like a battle field for me to do some wrestling. It's not about competing with an object, but to battle with myself and the time are really tiring. I hope that I could just lock myself in the room and do nothing at all, may be have some self portraits or pics editing >< But life goes on, if I don't do all these, the burden would be put on others. I don't want to be like this, gotta work harder to make it successful ^^ Thanks everyone for your cares, I cherish and I treasure our friendship.

I miss photographing and pics editing badly. Sometime I have the time to do them, but the comp that I am using now doesn't allow me to do so. It will take me ages to complete editing on one pic >< But I promise to blog all of them when I have a more functional comp. *crossing fingers*

And heyya, we would be having a great, happy and interesting event on this coming Saturday at Sunnybank which is all about loving the earth. The event is opened to public, so do come and join us as we have prepared lots of wonderful games and food especially for you. My station is all about FOOD, *drooling now* so do drop by to support the whole environmentally friendly theme by eating vegetarian meal. Besides, we do provide delicious lunch and some awesome performances. Everything is FOC.

Do invite your friends to come along to join the crowd. I could promise you it would be a fulfilling day for you not only your little tummy wouldn't starve but you would become wiser and more knowledgeable about how to save the ill earth which you might not be aware of. You might be surprised to know a little task or action could change your whole world for betterment.

Love yourself, Love the earth. Life's short, isn't it?

Click here to RSVP or to know more about it ^^

愛可以很單純

Finally my real holiday starts but it only lasted for one week before I start talking about accounting stuffs. When I woke up this morning, I felt empty because I was not sure what should I do at the next minute. 原來空虛的感覺一點都不好受, 只是在浪費自己的時間. 一個人過生活偶爾會有少許的寂寞, 但有了大家溫馨的陪伴, 寂寞這兩個字就沒時間去感受了.

Last four weeks right after my finals has completed, I have experienced the most fulfilling period in my life. Everyday was just about meeting and meeting. But, every meeting was meaningful because there were important inputs for me to run the camps. I have learn lots lots of things which couldn't really describe in words. Yea, will update more soon.

Last but not least, thanks everyone for giving me a chance to learn and to apply them in real life. The burden that I bear did not let me down at all, it just continuing making me stronger and more knowledgeable. I believe I can do better next time.

pp/s: will update more soon when my comp is normal.

miss u, u, u the most & u all. xoxo.

Taipei 2010

On 31st Dec 2009, my friends and I decided to have 2010 countdown at a square beside Taipei 101.

I was sooooo excited at that time because it was my first time counting down New Year at a public area as normally I count 3 2 1 at home. Some more, I have the opportunity to watch celebrity performances for free. Why not happy jek?

A few hours before 12am, there were so many ppl waiting for the train. We were forced to squeeze in the train like satin.

IMG_2027

Although there were lots of people, we could still see neat human lines.

 IMG_2029

Not to forget to camwhore at that packed situation.

IMG_2033

Yea, posing beside the Taipei 101. Too bad the bus has blocked the view.

IMG_2045

Met with my friend’s friends who were Taiwanese and one of them was Australian. They guided us the way to the square. But in the end, we were separated as we kept moving forwards into the hugh crowd.

p/s: Ignore my fat n round face ><

IMG_2039

Personally, I like the above pic very muchie. Don’t know why my sis’ digital camera switched to blur mode automatically ^^

IMG_2040

More and more people walking towards the square.

IMG_2043

IMG_2054

Kept walking and walking on the road.

We saw more people standing at the square.

My friends wanted to see the stage clearer, hence we kept moving forwards and everything has to do with pushing. NO, we were not pushing others. But there was always a force of pushing behind us which made us suffered sometimes. You know lar, guys could be harsh sometimes. We were playing “floating” game virtually by floating on the concrete without even have to move our legs. Plus, 2 of us were short, we have to fight for oxygen desperately if not really can faint.

Hmm… I guess this situation would be the same when you are standing to watch a paid concert –.- or better?

Anyhow, I quite like this first experience even though I kinda dislike to attend big crowd event.

IMG_2061

The stage

IMG_2062

Everyone was trying to pop their head higher than others so that they can have a better views or getting more oxygen :D

IMG_2068

Lee Hom was performing on stage. We danced like a “chicken” movement at the small restricted area. Why? Once you flung your hands, you would hit others. So, chicken dance by flapping your hands towards your body would be sufficient.

IMG_2074

Lee Hom was playing piano for 你是我的唯一 song.

IMG_2080

IMG_2063

馬英九 was giving speech.

IMG_2082

And alas, FIREWORKS display at this sole building. Didn’t manage to take any good pic of it as the pic turned out to be blur.

IMG_2083

And, yeaaaaa, happy JUNE 2010 everyone.

Many of my friends are going to Taiwan soon or later. It makes me miss Taiwan very much. I guess I should blog some aspects of it. What about FOOD that you must try?
