Mamutik Island

Hello :) I have decided to revive my blog by writing more posts in the future. I was very inactive in this blogosphere since 2 years ago just because my laptop went crazy. Anyway, I have many travelling stories to share so will try my best to write whenever I have free time or may be when I am stressed. Coz I can write better when I am under pressure or be more expressive whenever I have more thoughts running wild in my mind. I hope I am able to write well after not being active in writing/typing for quite sometime. Do excuse me and please feel free to correct me if there is any grammar mistakes, etc. What I gonna share here is solely based on my experience, my thoughts, what I heard/saw/ate and I love sharing pictures.

Alrighty! The first post of the year goes to ----> Mamutik Island :)

Mamutik Island is one of the touristy islands in Sabah. I was there for my Borneo expedition and earned myself an open water diving license. During my visit, the underwater visibility was not that clear. It could be due to the bad weather as it rained almost everyday in December. Still, I saw many beautiful creatures underwater. Here are some of the pictures. Enjoy!

I am really happy once I received a msg from a friend saying that she liked the pictures that I took for their products ^^

Cut the crap. Well, last Saturday, I joined a road trip with one of my Raleigh friends who came to Aussie for vacation. So, 3 of his friends and me car pooled to the north of Queensland =)

3 of them were either doing their 3rd year degree or studying Master. Am really happy to meet new friends ^^

 

Our first destination was Emundi Market which was located near Sunshine Coast.

This stall was selling classical music CDs if not mistaken. It was amusing when seeing the seller was sleeping with the soothing music playing around xD

We found lots of good food there although some were kinda expansive, but we shared the food together =)

It reminded me of sharing Ho Chiak Malaysian food when my classmates and I were on a class trip to Penang back in 2006. wow, that was long time ago.

After that, we went to a winery yard but it was closed. No worries, we worked on Plan B. We went to another winery yard which was called Robinson something. Not bad, I did taste a few different types of wines. Between wine and red wine, I prefer red wine ^^

We did drop by at Ginger factory along our way but unfortunately it has closed by that time we reached. No worries, Plan C then.

I slept in the car while driving down south. When I was awaken, I was kinda surprise that I were at the Australia Zoo. We knew it was closed, but we still wanna stop by just to take pictures. Damn random and lovin it~

Yea, I always wanted to go to Australia Zoo as it was famous for the deceased Crocodile Hunter. He was once my hero. May you rest in peace  T-T

That’s all for the random road trip. Hopefully there would be more road trips in the future.

The next day, they went to Gold Coast for whale watching. Sadly that I couldn’t join them as I have my own activities as well. Wanna say thank you for the trip. I did enjoy it very much although I did not talk much >.< But I felt really comfortable with you guys and  yes, randomness is totally my style xD
