Amor volat undique

Yayyy, Carmina Burana officially ended last Saturday. It means no more fregggin-high-notes torture for me for the time being. I am satisfied with my own performance as I have done my very best to sing to the joy.

It’s time to SHOWWW

At the end of the concert, I was in charge in giving a bottle of wine to one of the male soloists, Ron Morris, a tenor baritone vocalist (the guy at the most right)

When everyone was clapping thunderously, we approached them with the gift. After handing out the bottle of wine to him, I was sooooo shocked to get a kiss on my cheeks in return. Yea, i knew it’s a common French Kiss style, but it happened unexpectedly & fast, that’s why I was stunned. My face was red like a roster while walking back to the bench >< but it was a fun experience though. *shy shy*

My friends drove me to have porridge for supper @CyberCity, Valley. The porridge was tasty even though I have taken out all the chickens from my bowl. It cost me only $3. woootss

After that, it was PCP time (Post Concert Party). Everyone was very high & tipsy when we reached there. I danced the YMCA easy movements too =)

Although they offered variety of alcoholic drinks, I was happy not to drink any of them.

Everyone’s random works on the canvas. My bimbo drawing is at the right up of the canvas (the alien with two notes beside it) xD

Carmina Burana is a love song story written by Carl Orff. Listen to the above video u would know how “enjoying” the song would be.

My favorite lyrics from part of the song

Feror ego veluti

sine nauta navis,

ut per vias aeris

vaga fertur avis;

non me tenent vincula,

non me tenet clavis,

quero mihi similes

et adiungor pravis.

MEANS

I am swept away

like a pilotless ship,

like a bird floating aimlessly

through the air.

No fetters, no locks

hold me;

I am looking for my like,

and I join the depraved.

Everything has its own value

IMG_5055 This pair of shoes were bought from Buy & Throw Away (BATA) shop before I came to Oz this year. I bought this pair of shoes because my previous shoes which were from BATA as well have spoiled. I kinda like the old pair of shoes because it has accompanied me for quite a long time from conquering Mountain KK to exploring the wonder of the nature.

Now, I gotta buy another pair of shoes because this shoes seem to be ill & its sickness is irrecoverable. I seldom or should I say never has one pair of branded sport shoes such as Nike, etc before. I am thinking to get a better quality shoes which is suitable for soft & rough sports purposes for below $50. Any recommendation? Anyhow, hopefully this ill shoes could still accompany me for this weeks’ tournament. If not, I myself who is the one will get sick.

IMG_5060 I like this pair of mini shoes which I bought them from Taiwan for around 350 (Taiwan currency) approx RM34 if not mistaken. At first, I feel really uncomfortable because the edge of the hinge keeps hurting my legs. But after sometimes, the hurting feeling gone. I’m more than happy to wear it now ^^

Carmina-Simplified

Last but not least, if you are in Brisbane & a music lover, please feel free to come for the above event as I’m going to sing in this concert. It’s not easy to sing GERMAN songs especially having the highest note of (B).

Tickets can be purchased through me.

Support me, would you?

p/s: superb busy weeks/months ahead until the END of winter break. Anyhow, I love what I am doing with no regrets. Hopefully this decision is the best for me =)

Sing low and high

Seriously I am too sick of studying. I just realize that I usually would not try to fit everything in my mind one day before the exam. Done is done, just do my best tmr =)

That’s why you would always see me updating my blog during exam periods. lolz

Last Sunday, I went to Qums’ rehearsal at a Ulu place (Scout, girl guide camp site). I was suppose to go on Sat but having 2 exams on that day. So, ended up become a dead corpse at the following day due to over-exhaustion. Thanks Joyce for fetching me to the venue =)

My new friend, Syah who was from M’sia as well and studying Master under Mara. It was pretty amazing that he was interested in joining this choir as most of the songs we sung were about religion. Me either, lolz. Because of what? Interest lor.

The following pics were taken from one of the choir members. I have missed out their social “drinking” party which was happening on Sat night. They looked lovely with different costumes ^^

My theme of the pic is about “receiving your short msg and wishes have made my heart warm” something like that.

======================

Still remember this pic?

siap

I mentioned about being over confident was not a good thing.

DSC01506Well, the above pic was taken when I was waiting for my exam last week and this time I shoot my own legs =.= And so happen that it was the similar posture and same colour slippers. haha. Am I being over confident?

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Yesterday, I attended a Tzu Chi seminar hosted by 黄思贤师伯. He was the “legs and hands” of Master Cheng Yen for 20 years until now non-stop and have been travelled to more than 60 countries to help the victims in different disaster situations. Personally I admire him alot as his determination of helping people without giving up on trying have inspired me although he was much older than my parents. He looked not old at all and strong as well. 真的好佩服他。The most influence sentence that made me wonder awhile was “实际地自己亲生去体验好比只靠目视、听觉与念经来得可贵” (Experience life with your own hands and mind are much better than solely depending on looking, listening and reading book). It is true also as if you don’t experience or indulge yourself in the real-life experience, you would never know how the creator of the book think at the first place. Jing-Si aphorism is not a bible book, it is an understandable, adaptable real-life principles and behaviors that Master Cheng Yen herself has actually experienced and succeeded in adapting them which she is kind enough to share with everyone. Those verses are always happening in our real-life, but we tend to forget always as greed, desire and lust are easily fill up our mind sometimes. Personally, I would call it as a “motivational guide” for me to think about.

This baby was extremely cute and friendly. He was not shy at all. Whenever I started to approach him, he would just keep laughing loudly. How cute he was =)

I want to invest…

First of all, there gonna be lots of pics in this post. So, it might take awhile to load every of them.

080809 definitely was a memorable and tiring day for me. I went for rehearsal at 11.00a.m.

This was the venue where I performed yesterday.

Kelvin Groove wind orchestra. Choir members sat at the back of the orchestra.

Around 1.30p.m, I have to rush to another venue to attend for Tzu Chi’s activity. I was really happy, excited and kinda scared at the same time because I have to take photos of the events. My skills were still not up to standard, but I always believe that practice makes perfect ^^

Photos of the event.

Accidentally blurred out the black shirt kid

Yer, the girl did not want to see me T_T

I like this pic the most ^^

Speedlite and Prime lens attached at my camera’s body.

I was impressed with what a Prime lens can do. Not to forget, thank you Frank, my sifu in photography for teaching me. Plus, thanks to Annie senior for giving me this opportunity to pursue my interest too =)

xxxxxxxxxxx

The event ended at 4.30p.m. I took public transport back to the city and rushed to cinema to change my attire and have a really quick dinner.

After that, it was showtime!!!!

Adelia (M’sia) n me

Pretty Hannah (M’sia) and me

A non-stop working day was really tiring but at the same time, it was fun ^^
