Singapore

Last few days before flying back to Brisbane, I went to Singapore. There is a place that I would like to recommend you to go which is Singapore Flyer. It claims to be the world’s largest giant observation wheel. The entrance fees is around $29++ per person.

Because my cousin works at one of the tourist spots, she managed to get us the tickets for free Smile Thanks to her.

Awesome Cameron Highlands trip

Aloha, I am back for blogging … may be for awhile. Will try to blog when I have the mood for blogging. Last few days my friends and I went up to Ipoh and Cameron Highlands for holiday. The first meal we had once we reached Ipoh was the below @ 大樹下, Ipoh. There were many people queuing up for the food. I didn’t manage to eat Asam Laksa when I were in Penang. Hence, decided to order Asam Laksa, my fav! Yumyum~

The makan stall offers a variety of minuman which include dragon fruit juice, jagung juice, and of course, red bean ice blended is a must try drink!

On the next day, we went up to Cameron Highlands. Although the breeze was not that cold compared to N years ago, but still the view was breathtaking.IMG_4864

We were so lucky to see kumbang at a closer distance. I tried to touch its “head”, challenge accepted & conquered! LOLIMG_4892

During night time, we played Truth or Dare. The questions or tasks were kinda tricky yet we really had a good time playing together.

The task was how many people could fit in a couch! LOL

These were the plants that I bought from Cameron. Hopefully my parents could take good care of them since they have green fingers Smile

Till here. I would try to blog about my other awesome destination next time! Currently listening to LITE making me feels great and peaceful <3

Fishing

Dear readers, here I am back once again. Nooo, I have been blogging on and off, I think it has become my habit. Not really into blogging but I do blog when I feel to.

Went to fishing for the first time few days ago. My friend bought the coupon from a voucher website and hence, the total cost for the trip was so reasonable.

After 2 hours of car ride, we arrived the fishing spot. At first, I have no idea how to use the fishing rod. After getting short tutorial from my friend, I started to get a hang of it and yeaaa, kinda happy when I managed to throw the fishing line far enough from where I stood. Besides, the weather was freaking hot, luckily and brought my cardigan and wore on it under the blazing sun waiting restlessly for the fish to bite the bait. IMG_1956

There is a policy in fishing at the place which is everyone must release the fish once they caught any of the fishes. The guys who stood beside us caught them endless time because they were using small fish as a bait, hence, we saw literally the whole process of from fishing, catching the fish until taking picture with the fish and releasing them.

Trying to act pro which has failed miserably.

Somehow, the fishes were smart enough not to eat our baits which have hook on it. But they did eat the baits that were just randomly threw into the pond. How smart they were.

After reaching home, we just had little time to shower and be prepared before heading to a friend’s house for a party.

Their house was freaking big and cozy. I hope my parents are that rich too. LOL. The DJ game was so cool too but didn’t get a chance to play Sad smile after that, they had a short karaoke session before everyone started to dozing off due to exhaustion.

Strawberry picking @ Sunshine Coast

Few days ago, my friend and I organized another impromptu road trip up to the north. I have always wanted to experience strawberry picking moment and yea, here we were.

We went to a strawberry farm in Palmview. It was amazing to see the wide strawberry plantation all over the place.

After getting the container, we started to pick the strawberries we like. Sometimes, we did eat them on the spot as we couldn’t resist the sweetness temptation.

Our next destination was Noosa Beach! Trekking! my favorite. The path was relatively easy and while trekking along the coast, we spotted a big whale and a few dolphins swimming in the ocean. Besides, the view was breathtaking and the breeze was cooling and refreshing.

We trekked till Alexandra Bay where it was a beautiful pristine beach. According to google, this beach was considered a nude beach but due to the disagreement by the government of making it a nude beach legally,  everyone is allowed to visit the beach. Still, we saw a few naked ppl walking around the beach especially the uncles who hid behind the rocks.

After having some fun at the beach, we decided to take the different route back to the park headquarter. The distance of the track was approximately 5.7km

After that, we went to Glass House Mountain lookout point. As there were a few spots, gps brought us to some housing areas but we still could see the mountains at a nearer distance.

All in all, it was a fun daytrip though it was tiring to drive the whole day.

Sometimes, I hope to be the passenger, where is my private driver? Smile with tongue out

till here. night peeps!
