All in ONE. What’s next?

Hi guys, I am officially back in Msia now. Sorry for not letting everyone knows beforehand because I was planning to give surprise to everyone including my parents.

The story is quite long but let me cut it short. I have bought the air tix in June and have roughly planned my holidays before my finals. FML.

My mum kept urging me to go back, but I always made up lame excuses for not coming back. *guilty* One day, she was smart enough to ask me one question. She said “Eh, Australia got flight straight to Taiwan meh?”. I was astonished at that moment. In the end, I told her that there would be a transit flight stop at Msia for a few hours. Immediately, she said “Tell me early mar, we can meet you at the airport and bring some Malaysian food for you.” Once I heard that, I felt really touched. Love you mummy <3

Anyhow, I came back on the 21st of Nov. That’s why you might sense that I was desperate for my RM7k. Why? This was because if I couldn’t find anyone to rent my room, I would need to pay 3 more months’ rental (Bond attached). Thinking that I could lose that much of money for nothing, I was kinda upset lor. Luckily, in the nick of time, there was one local Aussie gentleman wanted to rent my room. Huh… Is that a miracle?

p/s: Once I reached the airport, I boarded the AA bus to KL Central. From there, I took train back to Batang Benar. Damn sienz looking ppl rushing into the train. What’s the use of having the rainbow lanes? lmao. From BB station, one of my friends came to fetch me straight to my house. When I reached my house, my parents were not in yet but my relatives got a shocked when seeing me. Dad & Mum were silence for a moment & couldn’t believe their eyes when seeing me in the house.

Still, I haven’t known where would I be staying next year. Really sorry to Xiao Xiao that I couldn’t help up with house inspection. Just tell me when you need any help =)

Coincidently, my Tzu Ching friend and I were sitting for the same flight, if not I was gonna be alone =(

Tell you something. Air Asia seat was freaking uncomfortable as the seating was almost 90 degree straight WTF. I had to suffer for 8 hours and the consequences were butt pain, neck pain, back pain, legs felt cold, apa pun lai =.= What I could do was just kept tossing my body left and right or else moving my butt up and down. FML

Met up with Cui Lian, Francis and Ah Q at Jusco for Christmas Carol movie. Frankly, I don’t really like that movie. Dunno why I felt scared with this children movie especially at the front part of the story. lolz. PHAILED!

Last Friday (Hari Haji), my parents and I woke up early because we were going to climb Broga Hill @ Broga lor. Dunno since this hill has become so famous whereby I stay sooooo near to Broga never heard and hasn’t been there before.

We started to climb at 7 lidat. So, while we were walking up the hill, the Sun started to rise. Anyhow, the view was really nice =)

Mum has went to Broga Hill once but couldn’t manage to reach to the end of the mountain because she hasn’t had breakfast beforehand. That’s y she was pening kepala and lack of energy last time. This time round, I wanted to make mummy’s dream of getting to the peak to come true. So, I walked behind her and kept motivating her to move move move while Daddy has already gone up the hill waiting for us.

There was a traffic jam while we were going down the hill as the path was narrow, steep and winding. Luckily the weather was good enough and that day was considered to have lesser ppl compared to the other days. My mum said if you come during weekends, huh… Memang people mountain people sea (人山人海) as you couldn’t hardly move at all =.= So, be wise, try to climb during weekdays instead of weekends.

After taking bath at home, my family and I went to Ming Kok to have Dim Sum. Overall, the Dim Sum were quite nice but I quite disliked the desserts. There were longan jelly, gui ling kou, sagu manisan & the one with orange with it, I had forgotten what it called. These desserts were really moderate lor and were not really tasty. Plus, the taste was exactly the same from the tins but it cost much to have them in the restaurant.

After a few hours, Mum and I went to Nadra’s house to have lunch again. They served us rendang, sheep meat, veggies and rice which was cooked by Nadra. I kept eating the rendang till finish the whole plate. lolz.

Broga Hill! The magical name of a hill with a view.

Last Fri 27/11/09 during the Hari Raya Haji holiday, the three of us, I, wife and daughter trekked up the hill at 7.00am in the morning.

For me and my wife it was our first ever visit to the scenic hill, being prompted by my daughter who climbed the hill the week before. After having resided for more than 25 years in Kajang I didn't even know such a scenic hill existed in my backyard.

At 7am the morning air was crisp, fresh and refreshing to breathe. The light mist surrounding the summit and filtering the morning sun gave the hill a mystique quality.

The hill we visited appears to be different from the photographs posted in your blog. Don't remember seeing any of the lush green scenery shown in the photos. The hill that we visited appears to be at the dead end of the road, has a Chinese temple at the base and the many steep trails up the hill side are tarred with bitument.

Is there is more than one hill site in Broga, I wonder? I am going to explore Broga Hill again next week and also to gaze at the magnificent sunrise in all its glory.

>Mindful reflections - The broga hill was located after Broga town (Turn left once you saw the Balai Polis in front of you). Go further approx 2 mins and you will see a rabbit barn on your left. And old palm tress are on your right. You have to either park in the palm trees areas or walk in in order to access to broga hill. The place is just beside the main road.

Hope this helps =)
