PEH's LIFE JOURNAL: Melbourne - Great Ocean Road (A must go place)

My 6th day in Melbourne was a tiring but fun long journey.

Early in the morning AGAIN, we took a tour bus and headed towards The Great Ocean Road. At first, we wanted to drive on our own, but after considering the petrol, GPS hire, car rental fee, it was sort of not worth it to do so.

If you are going to Melbourne for vacation, this is a MUST GO place as what you are about to see here are the magnificent and amazing views of the coastal line.

Our first stop was an Unknown beach (actually I have forgotten the name). There, we had our tea break and had some time to say HELLO to the nature and could feel the gentle wind breeze touching our skin.

Along the way, we saw lots of KANGAROOS jumping here and there freely at the large fields.

This was the entrance of the Great Ocean Road.

We stopped right before the entrance of the Great Ocean Road and I spotted another cool beach where people were fishing.

View taken from the tour van. The road was really winding and small, but our driver still can drive very fast and smoothly.

Next, we went to a park to see koala and birds roaming freely. At first, I was so freak out to have the birds on my palm eating the seeds. But after some time, I love the feeling and was kinda addicted to it cos they were so cuteeeee.

We continue to the journey towards Great Ocean Road. Before that, we stopped by at a beautiful small town (forgotten the name of the town) to have lunch. The beach there was niceeeee as well.

After having lunch, we went to a Forest Park. Basically, we walked a big round around the forest and there was nothing much to see as mostly all the trees were the same species. There was a waterfall somewhere around there but we did not have the time to go there. haiz.. So, we were actually quite bored staying at the Forest Park for around 30 minutes.

Another hidden beach.

This was the LONDON BRIDGE. There was a story behind this rock. Once upon the time, there was actually no gap in between the rocks. When the plat underneath the sea move, it caused part of the rocks collapsed. Hence, this was the so-call LONDON BRIDGE IS FALLING DOWN.

Gosh, who’s the heck was telling the world that his/her DAD is GAY?

Ok, here comes the story about the ppl who tour with us. There wes 1 big group of HK ppl. Along the journey towards the Great Ocean Road, there were conversing in Cantonese in a loud tone which sometimes kami memang tak boleh tahan. Anyhow, we still tahan. But then, kawanku terdengar mereka sangka kami adalah Indonesia Chinese. WTF. Sebab tu, kami converse dlm BM & Mandarin, so that mereka tak akan faham.

When we were at the last spot of the day, saya tak boleh tahan “misuderstanding” itu. Sebab demikian, saya panggil kawanku converse dgn mereka dlm Cantonese utk menolong kami ambil gambar. Mereka memang ASTONISHED ketika kawanku cakap dlm Cantonese. Tapi, mereka peramah lar. Sebab tu, kami dpt ambil gambar bersama-sama =)

Dlm perjalanan balik ke City, mereka diam saja. Kami tak tau mengapa lar, tapi boleh mendiamkan mereka supaya kami dapat tidur memang BAGUS. lolz

All in all, we were really satisfied with the long journey trip. Having the chance to see the sunset was really awesome. I saw the whole piece of wide land was shined with yellow ray which was freaking beautiful. Awww… I hope I could stay longer there.
