Correction: The location of Tibang Fall is in Ulu Slim, Perak but not Kedah =.=
Well, this was my first experience to go alone with people who were much more older than me.
On 23.11.2008, I went to Perak with waterfall survivors where I knew this group in FACEBOOK. Most of you including my parents would think that it is not reliable to go alone with unknown people. I am joining this trip not because to show how daring I am, it is because I love nature a lot. I have to wake up early in the morning and went to SS2/10 at 7a.m. Sorry to trouble my parents once more. We went to Kedah by 4WD. This was my first time to sit on it as well =)
Well, the road going to the waterfall was very poor and far from the town. Luckily, I sat in the only 3 passengers' car. If not, everyone of us would kept on knocking each other. Before reaching the waterfall, we stopped by a orang asli settlement and distributed some goods to them. They were so lovely. Some more, I went close them and chatted with them without feeling any disgust or ignorance. Dunno why I just love to do this kind of stuffs. Besides, I love to look at their smile =) What would you see in the video later, mostly they were showing sad faces which kinda made me felt sad too :(
Well, what I have learn in this trip was, going alone to somewhere else isn't a good thing. You can't share your happiness with people you know. Although you have alot of new friends, sometimes it is hard to express oneself especially myself. What I have done at the waterfall there was just sitting, taking photos, videos and looking people playing and laughing happily. Instantly, It reminded my times where I went to G Angsi with all my good friends :( During that time, I really hope that my friends were with me and played together. It was kinda awkward to play water alone. Hence, I was just sitting beside the waterfall silently in the rain.
Wohoo, my driver was so damn skilled. When we were heading downhill, the road was damn slippery due to the rain. Our 4WD always incline to one side and almost knocking the side way. My driver showed his driving skill to make sure the car was always straight and avoid going to the side way. Another great experience I have encountered was it was my first time to see my driver's car pushed another 4WD in front to support it from stucking in the mud. Wohoo!!!! Besides, I could fall asleep in the rocky 4WD when I was out from the waterfall. When I woke up, I was so damn lost because I was curious that why my surrounding was still the jungle. Rupa-rupanya, we went to another waterfall location =.= After that, we headed to Tanjung Malim to have dinner. Frankly, the dishes were very delicious. Yummylicious =)
I felt touched when the organiser wanted to wait for my parents to arrive. Anyhow, I told them I would take care of myself, don't worry.
She said :" You are the youngest in the group. SO, we must take care of you.". Although this one sentence doesn't bring much meaning, I feel happy as someone out there is cared for me. It is sufficient for me to bright up my life XD
All in all, I enjoyed this trip very much though my friends were not with me. It has kinda expose myself to a different kind of experience and adventure. I hope that next time my friends would come with me and we have fun sitting in the damn cool 4WD and enjoy the serene nature =)
