10-11.01.2008 Fun trip with parents

Where do I went after the ceremony? Well, I went to Kuantan with my parents to attend an annual dinner of a company. It took us around 3 hours to reach our destination.

At first, I was quite shocked as the road towards the resort was not ready yet. Rupa-rupanya, it was a launching function. The resort was very new and kinda dusty as construction works were still going on =.=

As the dinner started at 7p.m, daddy brought us to Telok Cempedak which was a beach. The waves was so damn strong and creepy to hear the sound waves roaring loudly.

Daddy did not join the dinner as it meant for 2 persons. Mummy and I sat at VIP seat. So, we don't need to rebut makanan with others. Food had been catered for us on the table. Hmm... The place was kinda dusty hence I was quite caution when choosing food to eat >.<

Good news for everyone who is living in Kuantan. There would be some entertainments in your area. First of all, there would be a Carribean Bay Resort near the beach if not mistaken. Secondly, a water park in Bkt Gambang will be built and opened in June 2009. Isn't it sounds fun?

The event manager came out with some silly games to entertain us. Firstly, he divided us into 2 groups. Once he showed a pic, the group would shout out loud "HU", another group would shout "HA" when he showed a picture of an old man opening his mouth wide wide. LMAO.

Another game was each table has some newspapers, scissors and tapes. We have to made something out from the materials which can represent SENTORIA GROUP. My table's ppl came out with a boat idea which means 一路顺风 in Chinese saying.

Around 10 smth, the event ended. We went back to our room. Since they knew that I came with my parents, they provided us another room. There were 2 single beds but I was the only one =)

Well, I was kinda bored in the room as the tv was not functioning. The only main entertainment was my music babes in my phone and my camera. Oh gosh, ugly ppl pergi camwhore pulak. "paiseh".

Next day, after having breakfast at the resort, we checked out and straight headed to the town to pump petrol. We stopped by at a place which located at the river side to snap some pictures.

After that, we headed to Sg Lembing. Before that, we went to Charas Cave. Well, I did do my homeworks before going to Kuantan without my travel guidebook =.=

We have to pass through a hugh oil palm area to reach the Charas Cave. Undeniably, it was an Indian controlled place. But then, there were Chinese Gods Statue displaying in the caves. We have to climbed up the hill to reach the cave's entrance. The cave was definitely better than Batu Cave as we hardly smell any bats' shits around.

We prayed the Gods in few areas and donated much money. Some of the natural stone sculptures indeed fasinating and interesting to view. Below was a picture of a "leng lui" looking at the mirror she was holding. You can see the Chinese words was written at 1975.

Poor dog which its body was full of fleas. Ppl, take care of it wei. Kesiannya ):

Sg Lembing was well known for its flood incident. In 3/1/2009, the water level suddenly raised till very high. Villagers who stay there got stuck at their own area as the road out from there was flooded heavily.

Luckily, everything was back to normal when we went there. We have our lunch there.

Oh Gosh, the peanuts tong sui was damn tasty. I lovin it darn much.

After that, we went to Sg Lembing Muzium to have a look. If you studied SEJARAH, you would know that this place once was famous with mining activity.

There were lots of historical tools for mining. Besides, teleks, calculators also included.

When we were heading out from the small town, we stopped at a long freaking "goyang" bridge. Yea, I was darn naughty and kept jumping at the bridge which made my mum freaking out. Sornee ~~

Oh ya, my mum got a free 2 days 1 night stay for the lucky draw =? Hence, hope that my siblings could go with my parents to these places again =)

Another incident happened when we were having a break at a rest stop. When we were almost leaving and daddy was standing beside his car. Another car was just packed beside our car. A stupid passenger opened the door and knocked our car for TWICE. How could this kind of uncivilized people exist? The space between the cars was wide enough to let you get out but you purposely wanna push till wide wide only puas. WTF. My dad was heart broken as the car was kena SCRATCHED by the idiot. Somemore, my dad was just standing beside it, the idiots just couldn care about anything but just THEMSELVES. Haiz.

Those idiots kept watching us while we were leaving as scared that we did harm to their car as well. Hallo, we were org bercivil. Patience is virtue. Frankly, I felt very disappointed on people who were SELFISH and UNCONSIDERABLE.

If there is another chance, I am sure to get out of the place and snap pictures of the car. Haha.. But I didn't do that as I was kinda shocked =.=

All in all, it was a fun short trip. Hopefully I have chance to go to more places :P
