Gold Coast – Day 1

My holiday = lack of sleep

That’s what I can conclude about my holiday for now. Last Fri-Sun, I went to help out for Tzu Chi teenager camp. It was really a tiring work when you need to squint your eyes most of the time from dusk till night just to get a good shot, stand on the unstable chair and holding the tripod just to get a good view from the top, sorting and transferring all the pics that have been taken a few times per day, etc. But, what I get is happiness. I really enjoy doing it although am not quite satisfy with the pics that I have taken. SB told me that I can’t give up easily just because some pictures taken were ugly. Thanks everyone especially  文书组teammates. Will blog about it later as there are lots of pictures have to sort out.

The day after the camp, my friends and I went to Surfer Paradise, Gold Coast to meet with my friends who came from Melbourne. This was my 2nd trip to Surfer Paradise >.<

I hope that I could dine in Hard Rock cafe one day =)

We have been waiting for friends from Melbourne for quite some time. After their arrival, we rushed to have lunch as everyone of us was starving like hell.

We dined in FISH & CHIP shop

Everyone of us ordered the cheapest meal which was “Catch of the Day” $4.95

Drew’s weird expression. We kept teasing each other and I added much salt & pepper on his meal. Bad peh. haha.. Guess that I have been longing to play prank or tease my good friends as I couldn’t do it when they are not here. Now, I have the chance and I feel really happy of being myself once more =D

  We actually went in to have a look due to curiosity. What I can say is the things selling there are so gross. I couldn’t imagine people using those “tools” to masturbate themselves. Guess that guys need them the most. Foul play toys I still can accept but not all the “tools”.

 

After having lunch, we went to Surfer Paradise Beach. There were lots of people around sunbathing, swimming, walking, etc. Besides, the sand was really soft and cold. We were just looking around and snapping some pictures.

Craving for good ice-cream as well. They were yummylicious. The cup of ice cream on the left looked like a butt, isn’t it? lolz…

Just after having desert, we began to search for a good place to have dinner. We wasted around one hour just to find a restaurant which served at a reasonable price. Yea, oversea students are that fussy when spending money.

After walking pass all sort of different restaurants, we decided to have fish and chips once more =S

Spaghetti

Normal pizza which I dislike it the most. Not nice at all.

Matthew has to use his mathematical skill to divide the pizza into 9 pieces.

The catch was we have to share the above 4 small dishes into 9 portions as there were 9 persons of us. So, everyone of us ate a small portion only. Btw, it was fun to see them figuring out on how to divide the fish & chips, salad, calamari, pizza, etc.

I couldn’t believe one of my friends was actually divide ONE calamari into 9 pieces. OMFG, we kept laughing as it was really funny to have the division being done. I would rather not to eat it. LOLZ

Yea, after that, we went home as my friends have to go back to their accommodation early to wait for friends from Sydney to arrive.

So,

I have used up 2 hours of journey each to and fro between Brisbane City and Gold Coast. It was an effing tired journey. Hence, we have decided to stay overnight at my friends’ place starting tomorrow for 2 days.

Yea, theme parks here I come.
