Pulau Ketam, Selangor

IMG_3278

Pulau Ketam (Crab Island) is situated out shore of Pelabuhan Klang. Just take KTM train & stop at Pelabuhan Klang station (last station). From there, walk around 2 mins on your right to a jetty (temporary pick up point). You need to pay RM7 per adult, RM 4 kid (one way) for the approx 30 mins ferry ride.

When my friends & I were there, miraculously everything was about just on time for ferry, rain, etc.

The only main transportation on the island itself is BICYCLE. Even police uses bicycle to do surveillance around the area.

There are quite a few temples there.

I saw an old man pushing his bicycle up the slope slowly. Why there must be up & down slope instead of a straight plain road?

Some of their famous seafood. The crab was damn yummy ^^

The 2 cute partners.

Overall, P. Ketam is a peaceful, simple & quiet small town. It’s cute to see everyone riding their own bicycle everywhere. Besides, their houses are built above the sea level & I’m not sure where do all the smelly shit & urine go. Hmmmm…… The most saddening thing I saw was rubbish everywhere underneath their own house. Most of the items are non-disposable plastics =(

Personally, there are not really much things to see besides the fisherman & village scene. However, if you are curious like me wanted to have a look, why not spend half of your day there ^^

Till here, have a good day =)
