A letter to u

熟悉的歌曲不小心在我耳邊播放著，
除了听到那烙印在心中的一句chorus part,
在好奇心的驅使下，我努力地尋找它完整的一首歌。
結果讓我找到了。
看看開頭的歌詞，使我毛骨悚然。
當然不是感到害怕，而是每一詞每一句都很有意思，也很貼切自己的心聲。

生命的短暫，不由我們擺布。
時間的短長，不由我們控制。
唯一能控制的是自己。

I do realize the importance of friendships and having friends around you. Friendship can be as strong as a steel and it can be as weak as a chopstick as well compared to a dozen of chopsticks which are sticking together. I do treasure and cherish every friendship no matter how close or how distance apart we are. 

Who knows someday, we might become best friend.

Who knows someday, we might become life partner.

Who knows someday, we might become colleagues.

 

I do feel sad when knowing I have sort of abandoned or lost in touch with some of my previous close friends. My kiasu-ness & stubbornness always de-motivate me to contact my friends initiatively. As time goes, our friendship bond is weakening as well. When thinking how happy we were previously on sharing stories and gossiping together, I feel like crying. I always telling myself, if I make the first move, everything might be different now. But time will never turn back, I could only learn from my mistakes for not being a good friend. Few more weeks, most probably we are going to meet again. Hopefully the ties is still there and let’s untangle all the unhappiness and mistakes that anyone of us has made previously. Miss you my friend who is currently studying abroad as well.
