Woman should follow man one step behind?

“Woman should follow man one step behind" How much do you guys agree on this?

After seeing my friend posted this question in her status, I ponder for awhile.

I’m not sure how would I answer this question but it is arguable in either way. For me, it depends on situation.

In general, guys are dominant creatures since ages ago where we hear about how they treat females terribly and they possessed the power to marry as many wives as they want. On the other hand, female is only allowed to have one husband. Inequality existed since then. Till now, inequality is still applicable but some people tend to deny that every human is unequal and should be treated fairly.

Come to an open ended question, is everything we do in our life considered fair? Everything?

In love wise, I do agree this statement to a certain extends. Macho or “must-win” guys normally have thicker skin and they will always assure you that their decisions are accurate or suitable even though it might not the best option to go with. But not all guys are like that. Some guys are smart, contended who might look passive on the appearance, but they always know how to response to changes or be the first person who comes out with brilliant ideas.

Girls, on the other hand, is unpredictable in term of what they want and how they think. You know lar, we always say things that is contrary in front of your bf. You actually want that, but you say you want this. Perhaps girls are more careful. I don’t think shy or conservative are a good term to describe girls, because not everyone is like that. What I mean about careful is they don’t express everything in one goal. They only express things to people when the timing is right, or by choice of situations. Sometimes, this will end up with crying over the spill milk or making blunter accidentally.

In this modern era, there is always a reason behind a successful or independent woman. Such as she has been raised up in a broken family, was studying abroad since young and being apart from loved ones, has broken heart before, etc…… Meanwhile, it is not surprise to see that girls who have just broken up with bf desperately trying to cover all their sadness by making their life more happening all in a sudden. This is what I observe from other bloggers. Thinking about the pros, it’s a good chance to know themselves more and be more independent I guess?  In fact, I think these independent girls do want to be pampered and loved too but they just can’t express that they are weak? Who do you think would not want to be loved and to love? 

Back to the question, guys sometimes do need some “face”. So, if girls step backward once, they would be happier and this makes them feel like a boss. Some people say that they should walk side by side no matter how as this is more romantic or they should be going through everything together without being left out. This is quite true though in my point of view. If girls stepping too front, guys might feel insult because girls have overpowered them as what the face issue comes into action unless the girls are single. No? But should the girls behave like what the ancient women did. Guys say yes, you say yes. Guys say no, you say no. It’s not a kidding statement as I actually have seen such a case happening to one of my friends. Besides, If the guys are really supportive to his gf’s achievements, I don’t see any flaws in it. It’s always good to be tolerable and understandable.

As a whole, no matter you are single or in a relationship. It’s up to you in judging this issue as there’s no definite answers for it. The above is mere my random point of views. All in all, life would be easier if successful communication (not only through cyber world) being established regardless on what the above say. Agree?
