Long time no see sorry for my long disappearance. Recently I hardly got time to do my own personal stuffs. Few days ago, I was struggling with my society stuffs, now I guess I need to brush up with my studies. But the happy things are I sleep well, eat well and think well! However, sometimes I do feel like I have been missing something that is suppose to be part of my life. Emptiness? nah, dunno!
I just came back from CCM (Christian Campus Movement) daytrip and yea, decided to blog about it since I managed to squeeze some time for myself before going to bed. There were approximately 389 students from UQ, QUT and Griffith Uni who attended this daytrip. Our first stop was Carrara Market which was located at the Gold Coast. There were variety of items selling there such as handmade crafts, arts, fruits, candy, personal items, old books, wonderful cheap clothes, etc. I was tempted to buy the clothes, but was managed to refrain myself from buying.
Fresh fruits on sale
Some homemade fragrance
Homemade items
Old books on sale. The price can go as low as $1!!
Clothes and more clothes which were selling at a reasonable price
I had HOT POTATO as brunch @ $5 per person (sharing for two). Tasty but kinda dislike the meaty mince beef. I didn’t know they would put some mince on it, hence was trying hard to get rid of it as much as I can.
Not edited at all. Was using BB to capture this pic
We had sand building competition!
Let’s see what our team had came out with
A fort/castle equipped with swimming pools, efficient drainage system, staircases, security protection, etc !
My wonderful first experience of sand building. It was actually not that hard to make one.
LOL
We were at BroadBeach. It was located right beside Surfer Paradise
My friends and I went into the sea to have some fun. The waves was hugh and the force was big. It pushed us away from 2 contrary directions and I hardly could stand. In the end, I drank much of the salty sea water and was getting sun burnt as well.
After changing our clothes, we went to BR to have some desserts
Met quite a few new friends throughout the trip. HK friend (left) and China friend (right) were indeed friendly
Last but not least, spotted a Golden Retriever and instantly like it very much. I want a pet dog in the future, can I ?
Alright, shall stop here right now. Hoping everyone is enjoying their weekends as well. Don’t worry, Be happy.
Pray for JAPAN as well. It’s saddening to see the death toll keep rising. Have faith and be a vegan!
