Aha, I have been waiting for this moment for quite some time. Why? Because I am eager to share my one-day itinerary on K. Selangor and Sekinchan. Well, it would be a long post attach with lots of pictures.
First and foremost, K. Selangor is located at the north side of Selangor. I have been wanting to go to Sekinchan to see the famous vast paddy field. But too bad, I have been conned by friend (aha, it’s alright) because I can’t see any green paddy field but black soils once I reached there. Kinda disappointed though anyhow, surely will be back for more!
My friends and I went to Sekinchan during February and it took us around 3 hours drive from Seremban (heavy jam at the highway). But still, it was a fun trip. Will see when you read more
If not mistaken, the best timing to go there is around July-November. Do double check with Mr. Google.

We drove down a narrow path way (Site A) which was filled with paddy fields on the both sides of the road. The scenery was awesome! Too bad I couldn’t snap any picture!
By luck, we managed to find the temple that we wanted to visit by just roaming around the housing area at SITE A. It’s 南天宫 (Nan Tien Temple)
From our observation, houses in SITE A are quite luxury and big. No doubt that they are mainly Chinese residents.

When we were about to camwhore, the wind was getting stronger and more aggressive. Luckily my digital cam was still survive. lol
After that, we went for lunch @ Bagan Sekinchan. Jiann Chyi restaurant is famous for its “SHARK meat” food which includes porridge, soup, etc Anyhow, we did not try any of those @.@ Just a simple meal will do.
I was very curious where did my urine and tissue ended up to. Now I know the answer after seeing this!
After having our lunch, we walked around the fishing village which was just behind the restaurant. Alive seafood could be seen everywhere!
Aha, now here comes the tricky part. We had difficulty on finding “PANTAI REDANG” as the sign board was not clearly shown. In the end, we found that the beach was just located beside the fishing village. You have to by pass the Jian Chyi restaurant and drive straight until you see a bridge. Cross it and turn to your left and drive straight again. Ok, not really good at describing the direction. Ask the locals!

Started to do some usual-lame-stuffs
After our adventure and exploration in Sekinchan, we headed back to K.Selangor town. Drove up to Bukit Melawati to watch touch MONKEYS! It was around 5.30pm when we reached there.
Two of my friends were freaking afraid of them especially WWW. hahaha. it was so funny to look at their expression when I handed over the beans to them
Hey, wanna befriend with me? lol
There was a friendly Malay guy who taught me on how to attract the monkey and a generous Malay lady gave me some nuts to fed on them <3 Everyone was so niceeee. Likey!
The guy told me this small “sculpture” looked like a monkey. What a coincidence! I have a second thought, what do you think?
Had ice-cream to cool ourselves from the blazing heat
We drove down the hill and went to Pasir Penampang to crave for coconuts and seafood!
The coconut was really fresh and the flesh was soft and sweet
After finishing the coconuts, we felt refreshing. So happen there was a mini pasar malam beside the stall. We bought some awesome tender satay which both of my friends like it crazily.
There were lots of seafood restaurants there. We decided to dine in one of them in Pasir Penampang! Yes, still roaming at the same place! The place was like a “food paradise” for us!
The restaurant was located beside the river and we managed to watch the beautiful sunset from our table
From the pic above, one could conclude that the seafood was delicious and fresh!
Well, our next destination was Kampung Belimbing to watch fireflies roaming freely. Do check out the firefly park resort for more info.
Although the moon was quite bright on that night, we still saw lots of fireflies flying around “the” specific trees. The duration of the boat ride was kinda long compared to my last visit. Thus, the mosquitoes bite marks were more especially on my feet. It was so itchy and irritating when they kept coming to me during the ride. Anyhow, the night view of the fireflies and quiet river were peaceful and serene.
Last but not least, a group pic before we craving for more food for supper. Sadly, the satay stall we went earlier has closed. But still, we bought some snacks and had a long talk while driving home. That’s pretty much of my one day itinerary to Sekinchan and K.Selangor. Surely will make your trip fun, have a try

some great small shops which serves fantastic food.
Used to dine in at Bukit Melawati. They used to have good western food there.
